About Liz
I am a multidisciplinary visual artist with a proven track record in creating striking, engaging promotional materials and 2D assets for AAA game titles, major motion pictures, and animated features. As an entertainment advertising specialist since 2013, I am called on to work in various styles, from 2D animated character art to realistic celebrity portraits for live-action films. Based in Burbank, CA, I design icons, key art, and characters for Warner Bros. Games, Disney, DreamWorks, the NFL, Universal Pictures, Amazon, and The History Channel.
For the celebrated Mortal Kombat 1 social media campaign, I illustrated dozens of expressive ink-style Kharacters, collaborating with the team of Home Brew Agency. The original post of Liu Kang garnered 40,635 likes on Instagram. By creating caricature portraits of the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs with Legion Creative for Super Bowl LVIII, I helped Nickelodeon and ESPN earn over 465,763 likes on Instagram. In 2024, I assisted Watson DG with an extensive collection of static and animated assets featuring Mickey and Friends, as well as the Princesses, now live on multiple official Disney Animation social media accounts. A highlight of my career was sketching and posing the dinosaur characters for the Jurassic World style guide on the Universal Pictures lot in Universal City, California.
I love storybook illustration, horror, fairytales, and watercolor. I incorporate these themes and styles into my work. My favorite books include Goosebumps, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, Tales from the Loop, and Faeires. To each project, I bring unmatched dedication to creativity and the arts, as well as a passion for contemporary culture, video games, and film.
