Growth/Gaining Power
The player's Pacu character swims forward, eating fruit, seeds, nuts, and items that fall into the aquatic environment or are discoverable along the route, increasing its bite force over time. By continuously consuming and crushing, the Pacu character grows in size, gaining the ability to devour larger food sources. Biting or swallowing enchanted items will increase the Pacu’s speed or imbue the character with special skills temporarily.
Exploration/Traversing Environments
As the player’s juvenile Pacu progresses from the gentle fresh water river nursery to explore increasingly alluring but perilous levels, it evolves to master new environments. It learns to defeat challenging obstacles with experience and enhanced abilities. Each level pulses with unique life forms and presents new fruits, foods, gemstones, artifacts, and novel items to unearth.
Streaks/Rewards
Sending one's Pacu on a daily journey will reward the player with Bite Force streak badges, encouraging play and enhancing satisfaction. Significant milestone Bite Force Streaks (10 days, 30 days, 60 days, 100 days) will unlock trading cards featuring characters and creatures from the Pacu’s river basin, including Arapaima, Crocodiles, Silver Hatchetfish, Neon Tetras, Pearl Headstanders, and Bronze Corydoras. Completing a marked number of levels in a row will unlock Pirahna Pal to fetch items.
